Nationwide is rewarding customers who switch their current account to one of their selected accounts: FlexDirect, FlexAccount, or FlexPlus. But here's where it gets tricky: applicants must move two active Direct Debits and complete a full switch via the Current Account Switch Service (CASS) within 28 days. And this is the part most people miss—you must also deposit £1,000 and make a purchase within 31 days of the request.
Once all these steps are completed, Nationwide will add the £175 bonus to your new account within ten days. But beware, this offer is not for everyone. If you've claimed a similar incentive since 2021, you might not qualify, unless you're switching account types (from sole to joint or vice versa).
